Suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Barbara. Dear father of Greg and Laurie Montgomery (2004) and son-in-law Greg Horan (Lori). Cherished grandfather of Natalie (Alan), Krista (Andrew), Candace (Charley), Colton, Braden and Carlee. Special great-grandfather of Cameron, Sam, Lilia, Grace, Madison, Abigail, Claire. Beloved brother of Bob and his wife Betty, David and his wife Kim and Julie (Brian). Fred will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Thursday July 21, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Private family Service. Memorial donations to St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Frederick in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
