The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Rech can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I worked with Jean as his PSW in Orangeville about 2 years ago. He was a very pleasant gentleman who could only speak to me through his eyes. And what beautiful blue eyes they were ! I would joke with him about his love for the Montreal Canadians ( to which I would say " BOO ! " ), as I am a Maple Leaf fan. He would always laugh at me and with me. I got to say good bye to Jean when he moved to Fergus ( as I lived across the street from the Bethseda in Orangeville - I cried that day aa I cry now for knowing that sweet, gentle man. Be at peace Jean. I will never forget you.
