Passed away peacefully, with family at her side at Avalon Long Term Care, Orangeville on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, sister Mary and brother Ross; survived by her sisters Bonnie and Glenda. Mother of Susan, David (Carol) and Glenn (Debbie). Grandmother of Stephanie, Brittney, Cameron Jade and Kyle. Great Grandmother of Chloe, Sophie, Sami and Kinsley. A heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to the caring and compassionate nurses and staff at the Avalon Retirement Residence.

Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. Cremation has taken place, ashes will be scattered at her much loved Georgian Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Dorrit in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
