November 2,1922 – January 28, 2016
Longtime nurse at Western Hospital Toronto from 1947 to her retirement in 1987, formerly of Shelburne,gone to be with Jesus, at King Nursing Home,Bolton on Thursday January 28, 2016 in her 94th year; Loved aunt of Greg Ferris and his daughters Melissa and Laura, aunt of Bob Burnside and his wife Nancy, their children John, Jennifer, Sarah and Matthew and their families.
Predeceased by her brother Lyman and sister Evelyn (Mrs. Arnold Burnside).
Funeral Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
Spring Interment, Shelburne Cemetery.
As expression of sympathy ,donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation or Gideons International of Canada.
A tree will be planted in memory of Muriel in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
