Condolence From: Gordon Lawson
Condolence: Richard was my cousin and friend. He was a man of Christian character who loved his family and work.
I recall as a teen Richard protecting his younger brother Tom from our wrestling matches. (Tom was on the bottom!) Richard was always willing and able to participate in discussions and often had wonderful and new ideas. Tom and I will miss teasing him for which he was always such a good sport.
Richard touched many lives and especially those of Helen and family. He will be missed very much but we celebrate in the knowledge that he is with the Lord and one day we hope to join him. May we all find comfort and be blessed with the strength to carry on without him here.
