Howard, Bertha Marion (nee Hand)
Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of Ivan Charles. Dear mother of Sheila Linsey (friend Larry) and John Still (wife Doreen). Cherished grandmother of Sherrie (friend Howard), Kent (wife Sabine), Cory (wife Heather), Dwayne (wife Shelley) and Chad (wife Kim) and great-grandmother of Justin, Emma, Sally, Brittney, Carson, Brody and Sarah. Predeceased by her brothers Herbert and Donald Hand and her sister Estelle MacEachern. Bertha will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street., Orangeville Friday, March 13, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Bethell Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bertha in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
