Obituary for Robert George Vernet LENNOX
LENNOX, Vernet
Peacefully at the Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville on Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 at the age of 88; Beloved husband of the late Laurine Lennox (2014); dear father of Charles (Laurel), Andrew (Marianne) and Stanley; cherished grandfather of Pauline, Jason, Melissa and Amy; survived by his sister Marjorie Moote; predeceased by his brothers Murray, Harold, Bruce, Donald and his sister Kathleen. Vernet will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at 4:30 pm. Visitation 1 hour prior to service time.
Private Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville.
Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Vernet in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
